Zain continues to support local equestrian talents
Kuwait: Zain sponsored the tenth season of Atyab Al Marshoud International showjumping Championship, held at the Kuwait Riding Center in Sabhan.
Al Marshoud, Hayat, and Al Khashti award the top winners.
The competition was supervised by the Kuwait Equestrian Federation and witnessed a huge turnout of equestrian fans, along with notable participation from local and international riders.
Zain joined in awarding the tournament’s top winners, with attendance from H.E. Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Minister of State for Communication Dawood Marafie; championship host Waleed Sulaiman Al Marshoud; Kuwait Equestrian Federation Chairman Masoud Hayat; and Zain Kuwait Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al Khashti.
Zain is proud of its ongoing yearly support to this competition, which springs from its belief in the role played by the private sector in shouldering the local youth and sports scenes. The company is also very keen on empowering local talents and athletes who excel in all sports, including equestrian sports that are deep-rooted in the Kuwaiti, Arab, and Islamic identities.
The thrilling competition saw Kuwait Equestrian Club’s rider Ali Al Kharafi win the tenth season’s title, with a huge turnout of equestrian enthusiasts, including families, young people, and athletes. Zain also set up a special spectators area for fans to enjoy viewing the exciting competition.
The tenth season of Atyab Al Marshoud International showjumping Championship was held at the Kuwait Riding Center in Sabhan, with notable participation from local and international riders who represented the biggest clubs. The competition was refereed by a professional international team, with supervision from the Kuwait Equestrian Federation.
