UK inflation steadies at two percent -- statistics office

LONDON, July 17 (KUNA) -- Inflation in the consumer indices stood at two percent in June, the UK Office for National Statistics said in a report.

The inflation stability led to rise of tourist services namely hotels, vis a vis decline of prices of clothes and communications.
Prices of restaurants and hotels rose between May and June, by 1.5 percent, but the prices of clothes dropped by 1.4 percent and communications by 1.2 percent.
