OPEC crudes’ basket down to 102.66 pb

Vienna: The price of OPEC’s basket of oils went down by 75 cents to reach USD 102.66 per barrel Thursday against USD 104.41 pb the day before, announced the organization Friday.

Despite different opinions on how to manage fallout from the crisis, OPEC+ has been able to unite around a very cautious policy of slow increase in capacity based on "Saudi prudence".

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said in its bulletin that the annual average rate of the crudes basket, last year reached USD 69.89 pb.

The OPEC+ alliance countries agreed on their 30th ministerial meeting to increase their production by 648,000 barrels for July and August.
