Kuwait's Mezzan Holding Co. posts KD 5.9 mln in H1 profits

KUWAIT, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Mezzan Holding Company announced on Thursday profits of KD 5.9 million (around USD 19.4 million) in the first half of this year, up 215 percent compared with the corresponding period of last year.


The company's revenues hit KD 140.4 million (around USD 463 million) in the reporting period, Mezzan Holding Vice Chairman Mohammad Al-Wazzan said in a press statement.
Net profits in the second quarter (the three months ended in June) amounted to KD 1.7 million (around USD 5.6 million), compared with KD 1.1 million (around USD 3.6 million) in the second quarter of 2022.
Kuwait-based Mezzan Holding Company was listed on Kuwait's stock exchange, known as Boursa Kuwait, in 2015. (end) fnk.mt.
