GENEVA, June 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is committed to ensure stability and development in the labor market, Kuwaiti permanent representative to the United Nations said on Monday, hailing his country's ties with the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Underlining Kuwait's support of efforts aiming to improve labor conditions in the wider Arab region, Nasser Al-Hayen told the International Labor Conference that many labor markets across the globe were yet to shake off the impact induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the agenda for the talks, the Kuwaiti diplomat cited pressing matters that will be discussed, running the gamut from worker safety to pay parity. (end) ta.nam.
