Brussels hosts EU-China trade talks

BRUSSELS, April 24 (KUNA) -- European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis is meeting in Brussels later on Monday Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao to discuss bilateral issues, EU spokesperson for trade Miriam Ferrer told a news conference.

The agenda of today’s meeting will include the "global geopolitical context," the overall EU-China trade developments and the specific issues of market access and trade interests with a view to prepare for the next high level economic dialogue, she said.
The two sides will also follow up on the recent discussion between the Chinese leader and European Commission President Von der Leyen during her visit to Beijing on April 6, she added. (end) nk.rk
